I live in Adrian, Michigan
I have no children,
but I do have NINE cats: Pierce, Rhino, Fang,
Thistle, Venus, Krueger, Cricket, Sticky and Agate.

I love to
travel. I have so many travel brochures that I think I could
start my own business. If you need any advice about
what to see on your travels, feel free to ask/e-mail me. I might
have some recommendations! We have been to
most of
the states, but have not done much travelling outside of the
country. (Of course, we have been to a few places in Canada and
we have been to Tiajuana, Mexico, but that is
about it so far for out of the country travel!) There
is so much to see in the U.S, that I don't know if we will ever have
time to leave the country. We do have Austrailia, Africa, and
Malaysia on our list of places we would like to see though! We
love animals. We are members of the Toledo Zoo and we have been to
lots of zoos and aquariums around the country. The picture to the
right is one that Steve took of the lions in a drive through zoo near
Toronto. We were actually very close to these
lions! Of course, we had to stay in our car, but they look pretty
friendly, don't they??? I bet they would have liked me to come
over and pet them. We like to see anything and everything unusual
on our travels. Here is a list of some of the more unusual
things we have seen: The world's largest ball of twine, the
world's largest termite, a paper house, a wedding cake house, a funeral history
museum, a toilet seat museum, a nut museum, a gourd museum, a whirlygig farm, insectariums, etc. I could probably go on forever.
The more unusual the better! Let me know if you have any
recommenations for us! We also love natural beauty and have been
to several of the National Parks in the U.S. It is hard to pick a
favorite place, but I love the Arizona desert. Most people think
the desert is ugly and dry, but it is actually quite beautiful. I
think that I like it so much, because it is such a stark difference
from what we see in Michigan. Antelope Canyon in Page, AZ has to
be one of the most beautiful places I have ever visted. Also,
Yellowstone, Mount Rainier, and New Orleans are a few of my favorite
places to visit.
Besides travel, my hobbies include collecting lions and
jigsaw puzzles. I have
hundreds of jigsaw puzzles. I like to glue them together and hang
them
on the walls. I don't have enough room to hang them all,
though! I also like to play billiards and go bowling.
